My name is  Gillian and originally trained in fashion and clothing technology.  Hence the eye for detail and perfection, After raising a family I returned to work and had a variety of jobs.  I now work within education and have done for over 21 years. Most of that time was spent as a swimming teacher I have always been keen on Science and Biology and spent time as a Science Technician which fired my imagination for my Macro Photography.

 

I am still much of a novice when it comes to taking pictures but learn something new each time I pick up the camera. I like to think I have an eye for what makes a good shot. Flora, Fauna and wildlife being my favourite subjects.

 

Throughout my life I have accumulated many albums and photos.  After much thought and persuasion from friends and family I decided to create a website to share some of my photographs.

 

 I have tried to show a variety of photos in and around Northumberland covering wildlife, flora and fauna, birds, bees, butterflies and some shots I just liked along with buildings and an airshow.
